Child passenger restraint laws and enforcement of the laws are effective strategies for increasing use of child restraints in passenger vehicles.
The purpose of the “Roll Call” video is to review the Indiana Child Passenger Restraint Law and provide police officers with some examples of easily recognizable violations of the law. Police officers who are certified child passenger safety technicians narrate the video as well as demonstrate mock traffic violation stops to show police officers examples of some possible child safety seat and seat belt violations in the field.
